The
Botswana Paradise Expedition
Day1
Johannesburg - Kalahari Desert
We depart at 07h30 from Johannesburg and travel through the Central Kalahari Desert.
Day2
Kalahari (Bushmen Experience)
We set up camp in the Kalahari., and meet directly with the Bushman community
Day3
Maun Arriving in Maun Okavango Delta perhaps scenic flight over the Okavango Delta (own expense). The evening is spent relaxing around the campfire and preparing for our trip into Moremi.
Day4/5
Moremi Wildlife Reserve Entering Moremi Wildlife Reserve, we explore the area on early morning and late afternoon game drives . Option to explore the Okavango in traditional mokoro.
Day6/7
Khwai River and Savuti Area The Khwai area is teeming with birdlife and wild animals. We enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives
Day8/9
Chobe National Park An early morning game drive is enjoyed as we leave Savuti, heading North to Chobe where river cruise game viewing is a highlight.
Day10/11
Livingstone/ Victoria Falls, The Smoke that thunders We travel across the Zambian border to view Victoria Falls - one of the most spectacular sights in Africa. Enjoy the local markets, experience the optional activities, including white water rafting, bungi jumping, microlighting/ airplane or helicopter over the Falls, rhino walks, elephant back safaris.
Day11
Chobe River Kasane Camp is set up on the banks of the Chobe River. Chobe is famous for its beautiful scenery, magnificent sunsets and abundance of wildlife and birdlife.
Day12
Magagadi Salt Pans, Nata Bird Sanctuary Making our way South through Botswana we arrive at Nata and enjoy the sunset on the salt pans.
